§8 — INSTITUTION-VERIFICATION CONFIRMATION
For Indian-issued degrees, MOHESR sometimes sends verification request to:
- Issuing university (registrar's office)
- AICTE (for technical degrees)
- UGC (for academic degrees)
- MCI / NMC (for MBBS — though medical licensing is separate)

- For wider use: pursue further qualifications or appeal
(c) DENIED — equivalence refused:
