Is your immigration firm
AI-ready?
A 10-question self-audit aligned with CICC 2024 AI Guidance §1.3 & §2.1, the MARA Code of Conduct (2025), and the OISC Code of Standards 2024. Get a personalized 1-page PDF with your score, top 3 risks, and the fixes that move the needle most.
Why this matters
Most firms are using ChatGPT for client work. Few have the controls regulators now expect.
CICC, MARA, OISC have all moved
2024-2025 saw all three primary regulators publish AI-use guidance with explicit expectations on policy, disclosure, supervision, and accuracy verification. Audits and complaints will follow.
Without a policy, you can't supervise
Surveys put unlicensed-staff AI adoption above 60% inside small immigration firms. If the licensed adviser hasn't sanctioned it, the firm still owns the output.
One pasted passport is the whole story
A client passport scan pasted into a personal ChatGPT account is a CICC §5.2 / GDPR Art. 32 / DPDP Act §8 issue at once. Most firms don't know which tier of account staff are using.
Question 1 of 10
Does your firm have a written AI-use policy?
A short, dated document that names which AI tools staff may use, what tasks they may use them for, and who signs off on AI-drafted output before it leaves the firm.
ref · CICC Code of Professional Conduct (SOR-2022-128) §6 (Competence) — a written AI policy is the documentary form of competent practice when AI tools touch client files

Audit FAQ
Answers for the careful adviser
Who is this audit for?
Licensed and unlicensed immigration practitioners — RCIC firms in Canada, MARA Registered Migration Agents in Australia, OISC-regulated advisers in the UK, IAA-licensed practitioners in Ireland, US immigration attorneys, and visa consultancies in India that handle file work for clients. The questions are calibrated to CICC 2024 AI Guidance, MARA Code of Conduct 2025, and OISC Code of Standards 2024.
Does the audit cost anything?
No. The 10-question self-audit and the 1-page personalized PDF are free. We ask for a work email so we can deliver the PDF and (optionally) send you the AI-policy template referenced in the report. You can unsubscribe in one click.
Does this replace a real compliance review?
No. This is a self-audit that highlights structural and operational gaps against publicly available regulator guidance. It is not legal advice and it is not a substitute for a compliance review by a licensed adviser or an external auditor. The PDF makes this disclaimer explicit on the cover.
How is my score calculated?
Each of the 10 questions carries up to 10 points, scaled by how aligned your answer is with CICC, MARA, or OISC expectations. The total is normalized to 0-100. Scoring is fully deterministic — the same answers always produce the same score, with no AI inference involved. We publish the scoring rubric inside the report so your compliance team can audit the audit.
How is my data handled?
Your email and audit answers are stored once in our Supabase database (audit_submissions table) so we can re-render your PDF later if you lose it. We never sell or share this data. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@myvisaprompts.com — see our privacy policy for the full DPDP Act 2023 / UK GDPR / PIPEDA flow.
